Plateau State Governor Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has expressed deep appreciation to the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hassan Bala Abubakar, for his collaboration with other security agencies in resolving conflict issues and promoting lasting peace in the state.
Receiving the Chief of Airforce at the New Government House Little Rayfield, Jos, Governor Mutfwang appealed to all stakeholders—government, security agencies, traditional rulers, religious leaders, and community representatives—to redouble their efforts in addressing banditry, kidnapping, and other criminal activities that in the state.
Governor Mutfwang reiterated his administration’s commitment to returning displaced persons to their ancestral homes. He also highlighted efforts to expand the cultivation of farmland to enhance food security in the nation.
The Governor praised the Air Force for providing facilities to store palliatives and offering medical services to civilians. He acknowledged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s confidence in the Chief of Air Staff.
Earlier in his remarks, the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hassan Bala Abubakar described Governor Mutfwang as a visionary leader who vigorously addresses insecurity with the desired commitment. He called for collaborative efforts to end the menace in not just Plateau State, but other parts of the State.
Sympathizing with the people of Plateau State on the recent security breaches, Air Marshal Abubakar pledged to assess Air Force facilities and introduce new perspectives to tackle such challenges.
He emphasized the need for both kinetic and non-kinetic approaches to prioritize peace and security in Plateau State.
