We have observed with utmost dismay, the activities of some unscrupulous individuals who have created a fake Facebook account, using the name and image of the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, to fraudulently solicit for alms and employment from unsuspecting members of the public.
The impostors used the official profile picture and other photos of the Executive Governor to deceive people who needed help.
We wish to inform the public that the Facebook account of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang is secured and has not been used in any way to ask for assistance or to advertise for employment or any program.
Members of the public are hereby advised to disregard the fraudulent messages from the fake Facebook account, which was carefully crafted by these individuals to swindle innocent people.
The time is now for us to embrace good cultural values to build a united and trustworthy society.
